Mentorship

“The mind is not a vessel to be filled, but a fire to be kindled”

The APIC-Indiana Mentorship Task Force has created a new mentorship program through which you can ask to be a mentee or volunteer to be a mentor in a variety of infection prevention competency domains. Please complete this form and send to [email protected].

For more information on Mentorship, please review the Mentorship Program Manual as well as this presentation from the APIC-Indiana Spring 2019 Conference.

Do you have a mentor you would like to nominate? The APIC-Indiana Mentorship Task Force asks Members to nominate their mentor who meet criteria.

The Mentorship task force will review all nominations using the following criteria to determine the current year's awardee: number of years in infection prevention, national APIC attendance, previous mentorship nominations, and the overall nomination submission.
